On October 8, 2025, during H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco’s visit to Skiathos for Mission Greece 2025, Elafonisos Eco joined forces with the Skiathos Municipality to showcase how collaboration can drive meaningful change for our sea.
At a special dinner with the Prince, science, gastronomy and conservation came together, with lionfish as the centerpiece. This invasive species was transformed into an opportunity, reminding us that solutions for the Mediterranean can start right on our plates.
We are grateful to the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, the Thalassa Foundation and the Municipality of Skiathos, Thodoris Tzoumas, for this shared mission, reinforcing the power of partnerships in protecting our marine ecosystems.
