Our President, Enrico Toja, has been invited to the Stelios Foundation in Monaco for a party in support of WWF, with the presence of PRINCE ALBERT II. The purpose of the party was to raise funds for the protection of marine biodiversity.
During his speech, PRINCE ALBERT II mentioned the lionfish, a predator arriving from the Red Sea with the ability to destroy biodiversity in the Mediterranean Sea. This species feeds on native juvenile fish, and the female can lay up to 2,000,000 eggs per year.
The best solution is… to eat the lionfish! It is very tasty when fried, served as carpaccio, ceviche, in soup, and in many other recipes.
